Eartheye Space Launches EartheyeESO™: A Dual-Observation Platform Integrating Earth and Space Situational Awareness

[Sydney, Australia] 29 September 2025 – Today marks a significant milestone in Eartheye Space’s journey. At the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 in Sydney, we officially unveiled EARTHEYE-ESO™: a next-generation dual-platform that brings Earth observation (EO) and space observation (SO) capabilities together into one unified system.
This launch represents more than just a product release for us. It’s the culmination of our evolution from an Earth-focused observation provider to a multi-domain situational awareness company operating across terrestrial and orbital environments.

With EARTHEYE-ESO™, Eartheye Space became a pioneering company offering comprehensive EO (Earth observation) and SO (space observation) integration within a single, software-driven platform. Designed to serve defence, intelligence, and government organisations, as well as commercial and research users around the world.

EARTHEYE-ESO™ introduces a comprehensive suite of space observation capabilities, including space situational awareness (SSA), space domain awareness (SDA) and deep space astronomy  capabilities that complement our proven Earth observation. The initial release includes:

  • Object Awareness: Real-time imaging and tracking of space objects across Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), and Geostationary Orbit (GEO), with deep space astronomy capabilities.
  • Contextualisation: Advanced data processing and feed generation that transforms orbital data into actionable information about object activity, positioning, and behaviour.
  • Unified Tasking-to-Delivery: The same intuitive multi-sensor tasking interface that powers EARTHEYE’s EO services will now enable users to seamlessly switch between EO and SO, or combine both—within one operational workflow.

This integration means users can monitor terrestrial and orbital activities simultaneously, resulting in something we believe represents a meaningful step forward: EARTHEYE-ESO™ delivers an unprecedented level of situational awareness across domains, giving organisations a single platform for both Earth and Space monitoring.

Official Launch at IAC 2025

The launch of EARTHEYE-ESO™ was presented during a dedicated media session at IAC 2025 in Sydney, bringing together Dr. Shankar Sivaprakasam (CEO, Eartheye Space), The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO (Advisor, Eartheye Space), and Madin Maseeh (CEO, MSRO) with the sponsorship of the New South Wales government. The launch event was led by the Assistant Executive Director of Investment NSW, Ms. Amber Stanley.  

During the unveiling, Eartheye Space introduced a new strategic vision that captures what Eartheye Space has been building: “Two Perspectives. One Platform.”

This marks a new chapter in Eartheye Space’s mission to democratize access to situational awareness, both looking up into space and looking down at Earth.
