Job Description

Eartheye Space is a fast-paced space-tech company known for its situational awareness offering.

You are responsible for ensuring the quality of the software released to production. This is a QA team lead role, leading a highly motivated and proficient QA team. You will work collaboratively with the Eartheye platform and AI/ML engineers while managing a QA team.

Your expertise includes

• End-to-end system test automation spans the front end/UI, backend/business logic, and external/OpenAPIs.
• Using test automation tools and libraries such as Mockoon, Playwright, Supertest, or equivalent in TypeScript and JavaScript environments.
• Knowledge of a cloud environment, such as AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

Work Experience and Expectations

You should have:

• At least five years of relevant experience in automating unit, integration and regression testing.
• Expert knowledge of scripting.
• Worked in a Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB stack in the cloud environment.
• Worked on automated testing of two or more SaaS products.
• Worked in an agile/ sprint environment.
• Worked in a fast-paced environment. By our cadence, intra-week micro-releases to fortnightly.
• Must be able to solve complex problems under tight timelines.
• Highly attentive to detail.
• Research-driven and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to work in an agile environment with constant change.
• Clear communication skills—both spoken and written English.
