Singapore, February 2026: Eartheye Space marked a strong international presence at the inaugural Space Summit 2026, held on 2nd & 3rd February at Marina Bay Sands Convention centre, positioning itself among global innovators shaping the future of the space economy.
Launched as a new pillar alongside the Singapore Airshow, the Space Summit brought together policymakers, space agencies, investors and industry leaders to explore emerging opportunities across infrastructure, sustainability, climate change, investment and the rapidly expanding in-space economy. The event was anchored around themes of collaboration, responsible growth and advancing space technologies for societal benefit.
The summit reflects Singapore’s growing strategic ambition in the global space ecosystem, bringing together regional and international decision-makers to drive partnerships and commercial innovation across the space value chain.
Representing Singapore’s Space Innovation Under the SG Pavilion
Eartheye Space was hosted under the Singapore Pavilion, representing a select few of locally anchored yet globally recognised space technology companies. The Pavilion spotlighted organisations considered critical to Singapore’s growing role as an international space innovation hub, with participation limited to a curated set of high-impact companies across the ecosystem.
A Defining Moment: Singapore’s National Space Agency Announcement
The Summit coincided with a historic moment for the nation – the announcement of the formation of the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS).
Shankar was present among a select few during the milestone announcement. He has been closely engaged with Singapore’s space ecosystem since entering the sector in 2017, including early support from the Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn) during Eartheye Space’s formative journey.
“It was an honour to be in the room as Singapore announced the formation of the National Space Agency. Having been part of the ecosystem’s growth journey, this marks a defining step forward for the region’s space ambitions.”
— Shankar Sivaprakasam, Founder, Eartheye Space
During the summit, Shankar also shared insights into the EARTHEYE Situational Awareness Platform, built on a frictionless, scalable data access philosophy inspired by digital platform business models like Uber/Grab.
Eartheye Space looks forward to working closely with NSAS as Singapore continues building what is expected to become a leading regional space agency.
Strong Industry Alignment with Eartheye Space’s Mission
At the summit exhibition floor, Eartheye Space demonstrated its multi-industry Earth observation and geospatial intelligence capabilities, reinforcing its relevance across key industries;
- Government & national security
- Defence & defence R&D
- Maritime domain awareness
- Agriculture, plantation & forestry monitoring
- Disaster management & climate monitoring
- Insurance risk intelligence
- FMCG & commercial analytics
- Supply chain & logistics intelligence
- Mining and Oil & Gas
Across the two days, Eartheye Space engaged with stakeholders spanning government agencies, defence organisations, OEMs, research institutions, and commercial ecosystem partners; highlighting the growing demand for integrated Earth observation driven decision intelligence.
Founder Featured in Asia-Pacific Market Strategy Dialogue
On Day 2, Shankar participated in the panel discussion: Asia Pacific Rising: Market Opportunities and Regional Capabilities.
“Asia-Pacific is no longer just an emerging market in space. It is becoming a global capability powerhouse. The region’s diversity across talent, innovation ecosystems, and market needs; is its greatest advantage. The real opportunity lies in operational and decision intelligence that solves real-world problems across industries.”
— Shankar Sivaprakasam, Founder, Eartheye Space
The discussion focused on the rapid growth of Asia’s space ecosystem, covering manufacturing, launch, downstream applications and expanding commercial and institutional opportunities across the region.
“What stood out at the summit was the urgency across sectors to move from data access to decision intelligence. Organisations are curious to understand how they can operationalise the Earth observation data into their eco-systems for faster decision making.”
— Divya Krishnamurthy, Co-Founder, Eartheye Space
Team Execution Driving High-Impact Presence
Eartheye Space’s high-visibility presence at the Singapore Pavilion was driven by cross-functional coordination led by: Divya Krishnamurthy: Co-Founder, Minu Singh: Marketing Lead & Anandu Anil: Platform Engineer.
Their efforts ensured Eartheye Space’s brand, platform demonstrations and stakeholder engagement remained among the most active and visible across the summit exhibition zone.
“Our goal was simple. Make Eartheye Space impossible to miss, both visually and through meaningful conversations. The response from delegates validated the growing need for an integrated Situational Awareness Platform,”
— Minu, Marketing Lead
Looking Ahead
The summit reinforced the accelerating convergence of space technology, AI, and operational intelligence across industries. With Asia-Pacific emerging as a major growth engine for the global space economy, platforms that convert multi-source satellite data into actionable insights are expected to play a defining role.
For Eartheye Space, Space Summit 2026 marked not just an exhibition milestone, but a strategic step towards deeper regional partnerships and expanded global deployments.
